J.T. Gurzi was born in the American Southwest and raised in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, USA as Jeremiah Tobias Gurzi. He is a graduate of the UCLA Theater, Film & Television MFA Screenwriting program, and a Panavision 'New Filmmaker' program recipient for his directorial debut. He is known for Jennylee: Boom Boom (2016), Heaven Adores You (2014) and Heaven Strewn (2011).
