Billy Jensen

Billy Jensen is an American crime journalist, producer and on-air correspondent who specializes in unsolved murders, missing persons and the intersection of citizen detectives, law enforcement and technology. He is a supervising producer and special correspondent of the Warner Bros. show Crime Watch Daily, the first syndicated crime show in daytime (2015- ) He co-starred in the four-hour History Channel special on one of America's most infamous unsolved crimes, DB Cooper: Case Closed? (2016). He has written crime stories for Rolling Stone, Los Angeles Magazine, Boston Magazine, Village Voice and the New York Times. A sought after expert on amateur digital detectives, Jensen presented his panel "Solving Murders With Social Media" at SXSW Interactive (2014) and the National Cybercrime Conference (2014). A native of Long Island, NY, Jensen has a master's degree in religious studies from the University of Kansas and played professional roller hockey (earning the first minor penalty in Major League Roller Hockey history).
