Caito Ortiz

Caito Ortiz studied film at the NYU Film School and is currently a partner and director at Prodigo Films. "Jules and Dolores", his second feature film in partnership with Netflix had its World Premier in SXSW in 2016 and went on to win the audience award for best picture. In 2003 'Motoboys_Vida Loca', his first documentary won the audience award for Best Brazilian Documentary at the São Paulo International Film Festival. For TV, he directed the Netflix series 'Most Beautiful Thing' and is currently working on season 2. He is also an Executive Producer of Carlos Saldanha's Brazilian folklore fantasy series ''Cidades Invisíveis'' (Invisible Cities), also for Netflix. For HBO he directed an award winning original fiction series entitled 'SOB', (Best TV Show in 2012 from the APCA, São Paulo Association of Art Critics).
