Brendee Green is a Canadian actress, writer, singer, and director. During and after graduating from a four-year theatre degree program at York University, she worked in Canadian television and film productions, such as the CFC produced Molly Maxwell, directed by Sara St. Onge, for which her original song Stay was licensed. She performed the recurring role of Denise in Global's Rookie Blue, and made guest appearances on The Listener and Hannibal before moving to British Columbia. During her time on the west coast Brendee collaborated with Patrick Currie on the Crazy 8's produced LGBT short Meet Cute, co-writing and performing the role of Riley. Recently Meet Cute became available on OutTV after finishing a successful festival circuit. Green spent two years living and working in the UK, where she performed in two Sony Home Pictures features directed by Andrew Jones. There she also directed a stage production of David Auburn's Proof at the Courtyard Theatre in London, and performed the role of Portia in a stage production of Julius Caesar produced by Spada Productions. Upon her return to Toronto, Ether, a play written by Green, premiered at the 2019 Toronto Fringe Festival produced by White Mills Theatre Co. Green is now in the process of adapting the play for television.
