Karim Chérif started his career as a member of the national theater in Vienna, Austria (Burgtheater). He was part of the international cast of the Studio Babelsberg/Luc Besson production RENEGADES and Hal Hartley s FAY GRIMM. In 2013 he play the lead in an episode of the crimes series VERBRECHEN in which he was critically acclaimed for his performance as a slightly retarded, to bluff a criminal jury. 2015-2018 he plays a lead role as a private investigator in the regular show DIE FÜCHSIN. His credits include French, English and Aerman speaking productions as he is fluent in all of them. His background is French-Algerian. He is represented in Berlin and Paris.
