Jordan Canning

Jordan Canning's short films have played at festivals all over the world, including the Tribeca Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival and Interfilm Berlin. She directed all twenty-three episodes of Space Riders: Division Earth, which won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Digital Series and four Canadian Comedy Awards, including Best Director. Her first feature, We Were Wolves, premiered at TIFF 2014. Her second feature, Suck It Up, premiered at Slamdance 2017 and won Best Feature Film at the 2017 B3 Frankfurt Biennale. Her third feature, the omnibus film Ordinary Days, won Best Director at the 2018 Canadian Film Festival. She has directed on multiple TV series, including hour-long dramas - Saving Hope, Burden of Truth, Nurses, Family Law, Pretty Hard Cases - and half-hour comedies - Baroness Von Sketch Show, Little Dog, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and two seasons of the Emmy-winning Schitt's Creek.
