Damien trained at the London Academy of Performing Arts for three years and since graduating has acted in numerous professional theatre productions. The highlights include a seven-month tour of The Picture of Dorian Gray (by Oscar Wilde) playing the role of Lord Henry Wotton and taking the title role in Cain (by Lord Byron) in Sydney - the first time the famous poet's scandalous play was produced in Australia. His most recent theatrical role was Hal in Astaire Dances for ACB in Los Angeles in February 2018. On screen Damien has been a drug-addicted kidnapper dying of lung cancer in the neo-noir feature film Suite 101 (winner of the Best Narrative Feature Award at the 2013 International Monarch Film Festival) and has taken leading roles in several other feature films and Television series. He has also written and produced his own projects. One of his favorites was the multi award-winning comedy web series Louis Grant (2012), in which he played a lazy self-absorbed social misfit - with a nine-month old baby daughter. The performance won him the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series award at the LA Webfest 2013. Louis Grant also won the Best Director of a Web Series award for Todd L. Green at the Independent Film Quarterly Film Festival 2013 and was an Official Selection at both the HollyWeb Festival 2013 and the Urban Media Makers Film Festival 2012. As of early 2018 he is working on Rich for a Day (2019), a Charlie Chaplin inspired comedy short about a homeless man who ends up helping a lady whose purse has been stolen.
