Well-known Danish news correspondent with an international reputation for his coverage of the Middle-East. Employed first by Danmarks Radio in 1968 he has held a number of positions in the coverage of foreign affairs. He held directorial positions 1972-1982 and 1987-1993 and has been a Middle-East correspondent for TV-Avisen (1965) between 1982 and 1987 and from 1994 to present, most recently stationed in Amman, Jordan.
