Steve was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on 1st April 1973. He grew up with an older sister and two younger brothers. A solid family unit with a strong and positive single mother raising the children. A career in the entertainment industry was always on Steve's mind, from an early age he would often be drifting away to faraway imaginary places. Alas, life got in the way of his dreams and he chased a more modest living working as a Marketing Exec for many years, until one day he decided he would go back to chasing his dreams. After studying for three years at Bournemouth University and appearing in a variety of student and professional productions, Steve finally got to step on stage at the Lighthouse Theatre. Here he had his first taste of theatre starring alongside Nicole Faraday in Tennessee William's wonderful 'A Streetcar Named Desire'. Steve played 'Mitch' and was superb as the poor love struck fool. He followed this up starring in the Alan Ayckbourn play "Absurd Person Singular". He then went on to appear in several factual drama documentaries including the award winning 'A Terrible Beauty'. He also started to develop a taste for production and in 2012 setup his company Kinetic Film and working freelance for a variety of productions. Steve now works as a freelance Line Producer, Production Manager and 1st Assistant Director, but still dips his toes in the acting world for the right role.
