British Cinematographer Andrew Dunn BSC, winner of multiple BAFTA Awards. His body of work includes more than fifty two Feature Length films, in addition twenty four dramas for Television. Dunn's career began at the BBC,it's here he learnt his craft, but his passion for the Art Form began as a young boy. His Father worked in lighting at MGM Film Studios in London and whenever the opportunity arose he would spend hours on set observing. After making a series of Award Winning films for the BBC, films such as THREADS, EDGE OF DARKNESS & TUMBLEDOWN. Hollywood knocked on his door, he left the BBC & here began his freelance career in Film, his early Films are now modern day classics such as LA STORY & THE BODYGUARD. He is tremendously hardworking & a perfectionist by nature, known for his speed & whole hearted immersion to each & every project. A natural visual story teller, bringing unique & evocative imagery to each & every project; where every smell & texture of the story feels realised & familiar Throughout his career he has been mindful of not being pigeon holed into a certain genre & has therefore worked on a wide variety of Films; using both Film & more recently Digital technology & when ever possible he chooses to operate, to follow the truth of the line of the story. He has collaborated with some extraordinary Directors, such as Robert Altman on GOSFORD PARK & THE COMPANY; Nicholas Hytner on THE MADNESS OF KING GEORGE, THE CRUCIBLE, HISTORY BOYS & THE LADY AND THE VAN. Stephen Chbosky on THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER. Glenn Ficarra & John Requa on CRAZY STUPID LOVE. Andy Tennant on EVER AFTER, SWEET HOME ALABAMA, HITCH & THE SECRET.
