Kal was an editorial photographer before he moved to London to study acting. His first short film 'The Gift' was in Competition at Austin, Florida, LA Shorts, and won a TCM Turner Classics Special Jury Prize (London). 'Carousel' was in Competition in Berlin, Oberhausen, Edinburgh and Brest, released theatrically in France by L'Agence Court Métrage. 'Fare' is presently in post production.
