Her film "116", which she wrote, directed, produced and starred in has won 26 awards, and screened in over 50 festivals world-wide. Her multi-award-winning feature script, "The Paisley Witch Trial" has been short-listed on The Black List, and has been the #1 script on The Red List. As an actress, Julia is known for starring roles in NBCUniversal's re-make of Francis Ford Coppola's film, Dementia 13, Kill the Monsters, 116, Homicide City, and One Life To Live. Julia is the founder of Shelter Film, a New York-based independent film company dedicated to creating dynamic films by and about women.
