A former child actress, Cecilia Tijerina has performed on stage, in films and on television. She appeared often on Spanish-language television in the late 1980s and early 1990s, in such shows as Luz y sombra (1989) and Muchachitas (1991). Her film work includes Gaby: A True Story (1987), Don't Panic (1988), Esperanza (1988), One Man Out (1989), Barbarian Queen II: The Empress Strikes Back (1990), Picking Up the Pieces (2000) and Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003).
