With a hectic winter season ahead Thord needs to buy a new rescue truck, but such an expensive investment is never easy. Bjørn gets called out to rescue an inexperienced foreign driver that is blocking the main road on the mountain overpass, making the locals very angry. And in the North Kristoffer and Erik are battling the challenging weather conditions, black ice, rescuing a trailer in the late rush hour traffic.
The bad weather conditions are making our rescue workers busy. In the south, Thord and his rookie rescue worker Andrzej have their work cut out for them with a rescue to help a polish driver with valuable cargo loaded with sugar. Without the proper equipment the polish driver cannot make it in these tough winter roads. Thord helps him with selling him chains for his tires, which makes for a good day's salary for Thord. In Eidfjord Bjorn gets to play MacGyver during a rescue operation.
Thord is faced with an extremely challenging rescue that leaves the whole community locked in, unable to get in or out of the main road blocked by the huge eight-wheel- trailer. But with lots of help from the locals both Thord and Andrej manage to get the job done. In the North Kristoffer is left with a dirty job, literally speaking. And a garbage truck is overturned due to the slippery road.
Thord is a part of a crime scene investigation, Kristoffer and Erik gets more that their fair share of off road sushi, and rookie Andrej is faced with an overloaded car. Bjorn, the lone wolf, keeps the big mountains of Norway safe.
Thord finds himself in a milky situation when he gets called out to rescue a trailer filled with milk. The trailer is very close to the mountain wall, so one mistake can fill the roads with spilled milk. However, with Thords expertise and fast thinking he always gets the job done. Bjørn is having bad day at work, feeling really under the weather Bjørn can feel the disadvantage of being a lone wolf.
The biggest storm in years is about to hit Norway and all the rescue workers have their work cut out. With massive amount of rain, wind and snow, the recovery teams in both the North and the South are under pressure to get everyone off the mountain and prepare before the big storm hits.
A "Bonnie and Clyde" of the mountains have stolen 3 cars and are on the run. Bj is left to pick ups the pieces. Thord experiences terrible rainfall in Odda, and the bad accidents come thick and fast. Thord and Olav's simple truck rescue turns dangerous when a diesel tank threatens to split open. And Jo Roger rides to the rescue of a mighty military machine that's ground to a halt.
holiday season means the roads are packed. The crashes - and the jobs - keep piling up. And they're some of the most terrifying of the entire season. Even simple rescue jobs turn into hugely complicated recoveries as queues back up for miles. And Thord will face a recovery challenge that could leave his life hanging in the balance.
